The 29-year old Santander born Edu Bedia rose through the Racing Santander youth ranks and made his professional breakthrough in La Liga with the same club. He made his debut in the Hero ISL last season, featuring in 18 matches for Goa and scoring once and assisting twice. He managed the second highest number of passes (1219) in the league after his teammate Ahmed Jahouh, with a passing accuracy of 84.41%. He will again be looking to command the midfield for Goa in 2018-19.
