Jayesh Rane began his career as a youth player for Mumbai FC in 2008. He is versatile and a quick and dedicated learner. He played in the under-20 Hero I-League for Mumbai FC in 2011-12 and finished as the top-scorer with 13 goals. This prompted the club management to pull him into the first team for the next season. His first goal in the Hero I-League was against Salgaocar in October 2013. In the Hero ISL, the youngster managed three assists for Chennaiyin FC in 2015. He made 13 appearances for ATK last season but failed to get on the scoresheet. Under Steve Coppell, Rane will be hoping to be more prolific in front of goal.
