A product from European heavyweight Barcelona's famed La Masia academy, 32-year-old Pitu will be looking to take Hero ISL by storm. An intelligent ball playing midfielder and an astute reader of the game, Pitu was handed his debut for Barcelona in 2006 by Frank Rijkaard. After failing to break through the ranks for the Catalan giants, Pitu subsequently went on to represent numerous clubs in Spain. The upcoming season with FC Pune City is set to be his first taste of football outside Spain. Head coach Antonio Habas and the Stallions will be hoping that the veteran midfielder repays the faith shown in him by churning out solid performances over the course of the season.
