Cristiano Ronaldo's Al-Nassr preparing €130m bid for Phil Foden: Report

The Saudi club are ready to further bolster their attack.
Spanish publication Fichajes claim that Phil Foden, an offensive midfielder from Manchester City, has been courted by Saudi side Al-Nassr, who are willing to spend €130 million to sign him.
As they continue their pursuit of a Premier League star, the Saudi Pro League team may have made the offensive midfielder their target. But they will have difficulty acquiring a player like Foden.
Since his outstanding performance for Manchester City in the 2023–24 season, when he was the key player to help his team win the Premier League, Phil Foden’s form has declined. The attacker had a forgettable season last year, but the squad as a whole performed poorly.
Since agreeing to a new two-year contract this summer, Ronaldo has been granted additional authority over the team’s transfer window.
Al Nassr want the Enlishman Phil Foden

Al-Nassr want to sign the Englishman, who can operate from the right wing and give Ronaldo’s side more attacking potency, and aid the club in going all out for the Saudi Pro League title this season.
The Saudi Pro League team is prepared to pay far more than Foden’s estimated transfer value (ETV) of €90.8 million in order to sign a player who is still in the prime of his career.
It is anticipated that City will oppose the move strongly, which makes a settlement unlikely. Manager Pep Guardiola views Foden, who has a contract with the Etihad stadium team until 2027, as an untouchable figure.
The 25-year-old is valued by the manager not just as a player but also for what he represents to the team – a local player who graduated from the academy and is ready to establish himself in the club’s history.
What is Foden’s estimated transfer value?
His transfer value is €90.8 million.
Has Ronaldo been influencing Al-Nassr signings?
According to the reports, he has been involved in the club’s signing.
Will Foden leave for a Saudi club?
It looks unlikely as the forward would want to continue at City.
