Ivory Coast announce squad for 2026 World Cup qualifiers against Seychelles & Kenya; Sebastien Haller & Amad Diallo called up

The Elephants are currently leading Group F of the CAF World Cup qualifiers.
For the last round of the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers, Ivory Coast manager Emerse Fae has selected his 23-man team, with Manchester United winger Amad Diallo receiving a noteworthy recall.
Their crucial back-to-back matches against Seychelles and Kenya will decide the Elephants’ destiny in Group F.

After almost a year away from the national squad, Diallo, who has six international caps, is back. The 22-year-old last played in the AFCON 2023 qualifiers on September 10, 2023, when he came off the bench in the Ivory Coast’s 2-0 victory over Lesotho.
Fae has additionally brought back some key players, such as Nicolas Pepe, a former Arsenal winger who currently plays for Trabzonspor, Ibrahim Sangare of Nottingham Forest, and Franck Kessie of Al-Ahli. Sebastien Haller, a striker for Utrecht, also rejoins the team.
Wilfried Singo of Galatasaray and Sunderland’s Simon Adingra, the 2023 AFCON Best Young Player, further bolster the team.
With two qualifying games left, Ivory Coast lead Group F with 20 points from eight games. They are one point ahead of Gabon, who are in second place. Fae’s team cannot afford to make any blunders because only the group winner will be guaranteed a spot at the 2026 World Cup.
