Fulham injury update
They are not anticipated to be available immediately following the international break, and they will also miss Friday’s match against Bournemouth.
“Right now, I can assure that Rodrigo is going to be out and Kenny Tete is going to be out too, said Whites boss Silva. More than just this game, I believe, even after the internationals it’s going to be difficult for them to be ready for the next ones. Big miss for us, a big blow for us in terms of two important players, but it’s what it is. About how long, we have to wait.”
Although Tete’s knee ailment is not the same as the right-back’s from the previous season, Silva revealed that Muniz has a hamstring strain and that he won’t require surgery.
“Completely different. It’s the same knee as last season but completely different, said Silva. The type of injury but it’s the same knee. The first feedback that we got until now, nothing has changed really. We are going to keep progressing him in the same type of recovery, and the surgery is not necessary.”
Meanwhile, another injury scare the Cottagers suffered was Raul Jimenez, the striker was forced off due to a hip injury at Villa Park. However, it has been confirmed that he will be go under scan before the game.
Striker Rodrigo Muniz has signed a new long-term deal at the club.
